Pilot

I loved it when the first episode of a series is always titled as "Pilot". Maybe because it gives me the feeling that the show runners do not have an idea as well how good their first episode would be. hehehe. That it does not deserve a good title other than "Pilot".

When I was young, I had dreams of course :). I wanted to have a career, since being a doctor and a lawyer seems very far off due to financial reasons and I am not that quite confident that I am intelligent enough to be either so I remembered having daydreams of being a successful writer. Writer for a magazine,newspaper, a novelist what have you. Just a writer. Of course when you are young, you are very idealistic, you don't think of things if that will make you financially stable or if your mother will actually approve. My mother who is actually my aunt ( she is probably turning on her grave right now if she can read this right now, because she hates it when I don't refer to her as mother) would encourage me "to follow my dreams" when she is in a good mood but when she is not, she would insist that I take up Education as a course in college so that I could be a teacher, which she says is an easy job to get.
